Issue statement:
Résumé inflation harms fair competition and honesty, and it misleads anyone who reads applications and decides on them, from admissions officers to hiring managers. Most of it is not lying: it is technically true wording that implies more than it can support, and it spreads because an implication is cheap where a blatant lie carries repercussions. Honest applicants pay for it: next to an inflator, plainly stated skills look smaller than they are.
AntiLarp checks résumé claims against evidence and flags wording that implies more than the evidence supports.
